Working Families Tax Credit

The Department of Commerce began accepting applications for the Working Families Tax Credit Community Outreach Program grants. Beginning February 1, 2023, the Working Families Tax Credit will provide payments up to $1,200 to individuals and families who meet certain eligibility requirements. Check the link below to learn more and check if you are eligible.

Unemployment Benefits

Unemployment benefits provide you with temporary income when you lose your job through no fault of your own. The money partly replaces your lost earnings and helps you pay expenses while looking for new work. The benefits, from taxes your former employer(s) paid, are not based on financial need.

Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA)

Paid Family and Medical Leave provides paid time off when you need it most. It’s here for you when a serious health condition prevents you from working, when you need time to care for a family member or a new child, or for certain military-related events.
