Please complete this intake form to register for an upcoming Citizenship Clinic. These Citizenship Clinics are hosted by the Asian Pacific Islanders Coalition of South Puget Sound (APIC SPS) in partnership with The Korean Women's Association (KWA). The purpose is to connect Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) to the information and services they need to successfully apply for citizenship and become active members in our community.

What to expect at the Citizenship Clinic: We will conduct a general intake, legal screening, form preparation, quality review, copy, and exit with all clients.
Date: Citizenship Clinics will be held in person on the fourth Thursday of every other month starting in February 2026. Please see more information below.
Time: By appointment only, limited spots available. You may sign up for one session, which may take up to 45 minutes. Please see more information below.
Cost: There is no cost for attending the clinic. But, you must pay a $760 Application Fee to USCIS as part of your citizenship application. If your household income is between FPL 150-400%, the application fee can be reduced to $380. If you receive public benefits (such as SNAP or Apple Health), the application fee can be waived.

Citizenship Classes
Are you interested in becoming a U.S. citizen? Besides the clinics, APIC SPS will also offer these Citizenship Classes to help prepare Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) to successfully complete the naturalization interview and test. This is a 4 month course, where we will focus on building participant’s (1) understanding of the English language, and (2) understanding of U.S. history and of the principles and form of government in the U.S.

What to Expect: Through the four classes we will practice English (speaking/comprehension, writing, and reading) and Civics (both the old 2008 and new 2025 tests) reviewing American History, Principles of American Government, and Symbols, Holidays, and Geography.

Immigration Legal Assistance
Immigration Advocates has a directory of organizations that offer legal assistance for immigration. You can search through their resources at their site www.immigrationadvocates.org. There are filters to sort by location, language, types of assistance, and more.
Additionally, the Fair Fight Bond Fund provides support in and outside detention through physical, emotional, linguistic, and financial assistance. Know Your Rights
Northwest Immigrant Rights Project has compiled several resources to help you understand your rights when interacting with various law enforcement officials and officers. It is important to be aware of your rights and the rights of fellow community members.
You can also report an ICE raid in Washington State by calling the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network’s hotline (1-844-724-3737). If you are outside of Washington, contact United We Dream’s hotline at 1-444-363-1423.
The ACLU has also created an empowerment campaign to prepare for and safely defend our rights during encounters with Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE). The videos are available in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Russian, and Urdu.

The Immigrant Safety Plan document is a collective community resource to help parents plan for the care of their child(ren) (with or without status) in the event that a parent is unable to care for their child, particularly if the parent is detained or deported.
